Welcoming Party 2025: Rise of The New Agents

Program Recap

Jakarta, 20 September 2025. An atmosphere of enthusiasm and mystery enveloped the Faculty Lounge 801-803 BINUS University Anggrek Campus on Friday, 20 September 2025. International Marketing IMCB BINUS held their annual Welcoming Party. With an innovative theme, namely "Rise of The New Agents," this event is not only a formal welcome for new members, but also strengthens togetherness and introduces the organization's values in an interactive way. A combination of new students from the BINUS campus in the Greater Jakarta area (Kemanggisan & Alam Sutra Region) gathered, ready to start their first mission as IMCB "agents".

The event opened at 10.00 WIB with a warm welcome from the General Chair of IMCB BINUS for the 2025/2026 period, who conveyed the vision and mission of the organization as well as the important role of new members in achieving IMCB goals. The atmosphere became even more enthusiastic when the big screen displayed a short trailer describing the "mission" that the new agents would carry out. Apart from invaluable experience, new members also receive various attractive benefits, including lunch, provided transportation from ALS to KMG (helping with participant mobility between campuses), extensive networking opportunities between members in the Greater Jakarta area, and earning SAT Points.

The main agenda of the event is divided into three important missions, like a structured secret operation: Move to Trash

Mission 1: Classified Briefing – Introduction to IMCB

This first session is to provide an understanding of the organizational structure, existing divisions, and IMCB's main work programs. The Division Heads presented their respective roles and functions in a concise and interesting way. This session is also an interactive question and answer event, where new agents can ask various questions ranging from organizations, personal development potential, to the campus environment.

Mission 2: Agent Bonding – Meet New Members of IMCB Greater Jakarta

After the introduction session is complete, the new agents are invited to get to know each other in an “Agent Bonding” session. With the guidance of the committee members who act as “senior agents,” they are divided into several small groups. Various ice-breaking and team games were organized, aimed at breaking the ice and building chemistry between members. This session succeeded in creating an atmosphere of relaxation, laughter and interesting conversation, illustrating the togetherness that IMCB wants to instill.

Mission 3: Field Operations – Solve the Mysterious Case of the Missing Blueprint

The highlight of the event was “Field Operations,” each group was challenged to work together to solve “The Mysterious Case of the Missing Blueprint.” This puzzle game requires collaboration, critical thinking, and effective communication. Faculty Lounge rooms 801-803 have been transformed into a “mission room” with hidden clues. This game is not only entertaining, but also teaches the importance of cooperation and decision making under pressure.

The IMCB BINUS 2025 “Rise of The New Agents” Welcoming Party event ended successfully. Smiles and laughter spread across the faces of the new members, showing that they were not only welcomed, but also felt like they were part of the big IMCB family. Through a combination of various activities ranging from providing information, bonding, and exciting mission simulations, IMCB BINUS has succeeded in creating a foundation for "new agents" to grow and contribute. The spirit of "Let's rise together as the new generation of IMCB" is not just a slogan, but a promise that is ready to be realized.
