IMCB Welcoming Party 2024
IMMERS prepares a welcome party for new members as well as reintroducing IMCB through IMCB alumni and other speakers.

Program Recap
To increase member solidarity and introduce new members, the International Marketing Community of Binus (IMCB) student organization held a Welcoming Party event on September 27 2024. On the Binus campus, this event was attended by 150 people, including active members and new IMCB students. This event lasted happily from 12:00 until the end.
Opening Session by Distinguished Speakers The event began with a warm welcome from the presenter. Then, several respected speakers introduced the material in the first session.
Dr. Martin Fieser Sitinjak, SE., MM, SOA (School of Accounting) Speaker: Dr. Martin opened the event by saying that collaboration and community are very important in international marketing. Apart from that, he emphasized how IMCB can be a forum for students to learn marketing strategies and face global challenges. Participants gained a new understanding of the importance of innovation in marketing in the digital era thanks to the material presented by Dr. Martin.
Ziven and Ivo Kosashi: Introduction to IMCB and its Structure After Dr. Martin, Ziven and Ivo Kosashi gave a presentation that provided a complete overview of the IMCB organization. They brought several important materials, such as:
Video About Us IMCB: A video created by Ziven and Ivo to introduce IMCB and showcase the various activities that have been carried out by the organization. The focus of the video is moments of togetherness, projects worked on, and important achievements.
Organization and Management Structure: They then provided an explanation of the IMCB management structure, starting from division heads to division members. This explanation helps new members understand the organization's operations and the role of each member in carrying out the work program.
What We Have Done & Previous Partners: Ziven and Ivo also explained several projects that IMCB has carried out, including collaboration with previous partners, ranging from marketing projects to social campaigns. This activity shows how IMCB provides direct opportunities for its members to learn.
Current Partners and Organizational Divisions: Ziven and Ivo closed the session by introducing current partners and explaining existing organizational divisions, such as marketing, events, and international relations. Each division plays an important role in improving the organization.
Bonding Session Playing Badminton Ziven leads a bonding session by playing badminton to increase member solidarity. Intended to make participants become familiar outside the classroom and interact while exercising.
Exciting Games: Clash of IMCB Champions and Others: The event became even more lively with a series of games guided by the MC. The MC informs all participants of the game rules before the game starts. Next, participants are divided into groups. Each group was asked to create a short video blog as part of the challenge.
Clash of IMCB Champions: The game starts at Post 1, and each group competes to become champion by completing challenges that require teamwork and strategy.
Post 2: True, False, or Could Be: Participants are asked to answer questions about interesting facts and general knowledge. They must determine whether a given statement is true, false, or could be.
Post 3: Information Whisper—Ends with a Sale: Here, participants engage in a communication game in which they must convey a message from one group member to another. The message must be transformed into a sales strategy when the game is over.
Post 4: Chopstick Ping Pong Relay: This is a game of dexterity where groups compete to move ping pong balls using chopsticks, which requires coordination and precision.
Post 5: Guess the Word with Straws: In this game, one group member is given a word that the other group members have to guess. To do this, they just need to use a straw to depict the word.
These games not only let you have fun, but also help you work together in teams and talk to each other. Each group struggles to get points from each game post. The final objective is to determine the winner of the Clash of IMCB Champions.
First Session Views and Impressions Message: After the game was over, each group was given the opportunity to talk about their initial perceptions of the event and their impressions of it. Many participants found this event to be very beneficial as it allowed them to better understand IMCB and build stronger relationships with other members. "This event not only provides new insights, but also makes us feel closer to our fellow members," said one participant. The cohesiveness of this organization really amazes me.
The announcement of the winners of the event closed with the screening of the editing video made by each group. Starting from perm
