Company Visit “Growing Together with Paragon: Developing People & Strategies for Winning Products”

Program Recap

On May 8, 2026, the International Marketing Community of BINUS University (IMCB) organized a company visit to PT Paragon Technology and Innovation at the Paragon Community Hub. The event was attended by 46 participants from BINUS Anggrek Campus and aimed to provide students with valuable exposure to the professional world. Through this visit, participants were given the opportunity to learn directly from industry practitioners and gain a deeper understanding of how a leading company manages its people, culture, and business operations. The activity also served as a bridge between academic knowledge and real-world business practices, allowing students to connect classroom theories with practical applications.

The journey began with participants gathering at BINUS Anggrek Campus before departing together by bus. The atmosphere was enthusiastic as students looked forward to experiencing a corporate environment firsthand. Upon arriving at the Paragon Community Hub, participants received a warm welcome from the Paragon team. The event officially commenced with opening remarks from representatives of both IMCB and Paragon. This was followed by a token of appreciation exchange, symbolizing the collaboration between the student organization and the company.

One of the main highlights of the visit was a seminar session that introduced participants to PT Paragon Technology and Innovation and its approach to business growth. During the session, the speakers explained the important role of human resources in supporting organizational success. Participants learned that business growth is not determined solely by products, technology, or marketing strategies, but also by how a company develops and empowers its employees. As a company with more than 13,000 employees, Paragon shared insights into the importance of strategic human resource management in maintaining productivity, encouraging innovation, and supporting long-term sustainability.

The seminar also emphasized the value of employee development, collaboration, and organizational culture. Participants were encouraged to view employees as important contributors to a company’s success rather than simply resources within the organization. The session was highly interactive, with students actively participating in discussions and asking questions about workplace practices, career development, and organizational management. This interaction created a meaningful learning experience and helped participants gain practical perspectives from industry professionals.

Following the seminar, participants joined a company tour to explore Paragon’s workplace environment. One of the most interesting aspects of the tour was the company’s unique office design, which consists of several interconnected buildings. This concept creates a comfortable and dynamic atmosphere that supports collaboration and creativity among employees. Participants also observed various recreational facilities, including slides and play areas designed to enhance employee well-being and engagement. In addition, they visited the Paragon store and explored a variety of products offered by the company.

Overall, the company visit provided an educational and inspiring experience for all participants. It offered valuable insights into the relationship between human resource management and business growth while allowing students to observe a professional workplace directly. Through this activity, participants broadened their knowledge, gained practical understanding, and developed greater motivation to prepare for their future careers in the business world.
